RiverView

Instructions:

Click and drag the photo to turn your view. On a cell phone or similar device with directional sensors, you should be able to turn the phone to turn your view. Any blue informational icons will have a text label that will appear when your mouse hovers over it. An orange arrow pointing to the right can be clicked on to display a description that may include links to other informaion. Clicking anywhere else rotates the photo to that spot. Note that the address bar tracks these view-angles. You can copy/paste the address bar and send it to someone else so they can see what you are looking at.

Pale arrows pointing up will lead to neighboring photos. Most will have one arrow with a 'D' that moves you downstream and one with a 'U' to go upstream. Some photos were taken separately from the float trip and are marked by arrows without a letter. Those photos will contain arrows that may have a blue 'R' to indicate an arrow that will return you to a journy up or down the river. You can also use your keyboard: d or the down-arrow take you downstream, while u or the up-arrow takes you up.

The map will show where you are at on the river. The yellow dot is your current location. Blue dots show upstream and downstream photo locations. White dots, if present, show nearby off-river photos. All others are small black dots. Any dot can be clicked on to transport you there. The map can also be moved by your mouse (just make sure to not click a dot in the process).
