Mike Long made a motion to adopt the budget as proposed.  Second by Dave Hillemeier. Orcutt is really disturbed that a federal agency would vote for this budget.  We wouldn't be in this quandary if the budget had been maintained.  We couldn't even get a letter out from the TMC that says we don't have enough money.  We have a direct conflict between an Indian Tribe and federal agencies.  He won't vote for the motion.  Is there any opportunity for additional federal dollars? Mike Ryan said he hasn't found additional money. The region is still $4-5 million short.  We have been able to hang onto what we have, but he's not optimistic about additional money. Hillemeier supports the motion.  Need to get on with the program and get ready for trapping.

Stokely made a motion to eliminate EHM for $85,000, and move it to a new water temperature model for $83,000.  Second with friendly amendment to by Orcutt to add $100k to rotary screw trapping program for upper river trap, North Fork, with $48,000 from invasive species in the RIG budget and $50,000 from wildlife programs in TMAG budget.  $83,000 for temp model Wildlife studies avian and herpetological would go from $255,000 to 205,000.
