Description: (1) Salmon Meets Harvest Festival | Facebook Join us on Saturday, October 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Meadow of the Highland Arts Center on Main Street, Weaverville, for the Salmon Meets Harvest Festival, a day of celebration that brings together the 26th Annual Trinity River Salmon Festival and the 21st Annual Harvest Festival! These two beloved events are again uniting, offering a unique blend of festivities, flavors, and cultural celebrations. The day will kick off with a traditional Native American blessing by members of the Nor-Rel-Muk Wintu Nation. Local Afro-Cuban dance band Mojito, Turtle Bay Exploration Park Live Animal Show. Rock classics performed by Damenation Local organizations and agencies will be present to share information about their programs, their impact on our community, and ways for you to stay informed and get involved. Craft vendors! Raku pottery firing in the meadow Trinity County Historical Society’s Stamp Mill and Blacksmith shop demonstrations The North Fork Grange annual chili cook-off.
